What features should I prioritize in a commuter car?

The features that matter most for long commutes are fuel efficiency, seat comfort and lumbar support, driver assistance tech like adaptive cruise control and lane centering, and cabin noise insulation. Adaptive cruise control alone can dramatically reduce fatigue on highway commutes by handling speed management for you. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also important for hands-free navigation and calls.
