Most online buyers like Carvana and CarMax can issue a check or ACH transfer on the same day you complete the transaction in person. If there is a loan payoff involved, the process may take an extra few days while the lender processes the release. In general, plan for 1 to 3 business days from the time you hand over the keys to having money in hand.
