Can I negotiate the mileage allowance before signing a lease?
You can choose a higher mileage allowance when structuring the lease, typically in increments of 2,500 or 5,000 miles per year. A higher allowance increases your monthly payment because it lowers the residual value, but it is usually cheaper than paying excess mileage charges at the end.
