What other fees should I watch for besides the doc fee?
Beyond the doc fee, watch for dealer prep fees, advertising fees, VIN etching charges, paint protection, fabric protection, and nitrogen tire fill. Many of these are pure profit for the dealer and provide little or no value to you. Sales tax, title, registration, and state inspection fees are legitimate government charges you cannot avoid.
