What parts of a car lease can you actually negotiate?
You can negotiate the selling price (capitalized cost), the money factor markup, and the inclusion of dealer add-ons. You generally cannot negotiate the residual value, acquisition fee, or base money factor, as those are set by the leasing company. Focus your energy on the selling price and any fees the dealer controls.
