Do PHEVs qualify for the federal tax credit?

Some PHEVs qualify for a partial or full federal clean vehicle credit, but not all. Eligibility depends on battery size (minimum 7 kWh for the credit), final assembly location, and battery material sourcing requirements. The credit for PHEVs can range from $3,750 to $7,500 depending on the vehicle. On a lease, the commercial vehicle credit may apply more broadly. Check the IRS eligibility list or fueleconomy.gov for the current status of specific models.

In the end, he made our family very happy. On delivery day, since David wasn’t there, Mr. Shoni helped with the closing. I also met Jordan, the driver who delivered the car to the office, and he was very nice. The pricing was very competitive. In the past, dealerships made us uncomfortable, but this is the new era of car buying. When you call, ask for Mr. David Alesso, and even if he’s busy, he’ll make time for you.
