What is the Section 179 deduction limit for vehicles in 2026?
For 2026, the Section 179 deduction allows businesses to deduct up to $1,250,000 in qualifying equipment, including vehicles. However, passenger vehicles have a separate cap (typically around $20,400 for the first year). SUVs and trucks over 6,000 lbs GVWR can qualify for a much higher deduction, up to $30,500 or more depending on the vehicle and bonus depreciation rules.

I rarely write any reviews, I do find it necessary that I write one this time.I haven't purchased a new vehicle for quite some time. When I decided to move forward I dreaded the thought of having to go through the process of dealing with multiple dealerships, gathering quotes etc. and having to deal with pushy, non-transparent sales and finance people.
