Does CarMax negotiate on their offer?
No. Like Carvana, CarMax uses a no-negotiation model. Their appraisal is their offer, and you either accept or decline. The difference is that CarMax's appraisal is done in person at the time of your visit, so the number you get is typically the final number (barring undisclosed mechanical issues). CarMax offers are usually valid for 7 days, giving you time to compare with other buyers.

I wish I knew leasing a car could be this easy years ago! I still can’t believe how seamless my experience was with Sean. The delivery of the car was on the exact day and time I asked for, even though it was a national holiday. I have already referred him to so many of my friends and family.
