Is a 3-row SUV worth it if I only have two kids?
For most families with two kids, a 3-row SUV is not necessary and adds $80-$120 per month in lease cost for seats you will rarely use. The third row in most midsize SUVs is comfortable only for children; adults will find it cramped on anything beyond a short drive. Where a 3-row makes sense: if you frequently carpool, have three or more kids, or regularly travel with extended family. Otherwise, a well-spec'd 2-row SUV typically serves a family of four better.
