Carvana typically issues payment after pickup and finalization of paperwork. The timeline can range from the same day to more than a week, depending on whether a lender payoff is involved. If you still owe money on the car, payment to you often comes after Carvana has coordinated with your lender, which adds time to the process. Ask Carvana for the specific payment timeline in writing before you confirm the pickup date, and ask what happens if the lender payoff takes longer than expected.
